The standard describes the risk management in supply chain management (SCM) in the area of procurement, material flow and production systems as well as distribution; both from an organizational and operational point of view. The management of all tasks in the coordination and cooperation of the participating suppliers, dealers, logistics service providers and customers is considered from the perspective of risk factors. The target group is mainly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
