The document concentrates on the requirements and necessity associated with the installation of a small wind power station. It applies in conjunction with part 1. If the output of the small power station exceeds the 2 kW limit, the statements contained in the following guideline may no longer apply and the usual approval procedure is to be adopted. There is, however, considerably uncertainty on the part of customers, communities, companies and operators with regard to the approval procedure for small wind power stations. An aim of this guideline is to make small wind power stations free of approval.
