The standard covers energy-sensitive factories producing companies. The standard clarifies the planning and operation of IT infrastructure in energy-sensitive factories as well as the associated terms. Energy flexibility measures can be: adaptation of process starts (short and medium term), interruption of processes, adaptation of process parameters, adaptation of the machine allocation, adjustment of job order, storage of energy, change of energy source, adjustment of break times, adaptation of shift times, etc. It develops the energy flexibility indicators, explains the various procurement markets and describes decision-making paths.
