Abstract

With optical coherence tomography (OCT), the acquired measuring signals are subjected to complex signal processing before they can be analysed with software support. In order to use and configure OCT systems efficiently as a user, a basic understanding of signal processing and data processing is required. The basic knowledge is conveyed in this standard. The standard supports communication between manufacturers and users and helps to promote the use of OCT measurement technology. The standard is aimed at manufacturers and users of OCT systems, software developers, system integrators in mechanical and plant engineering and system manufacturers in medical technology.
