Safety and pressurised gas cylinder cabinets that are not tested at regular intervals by a person qualified for testing to ensure that they are in proper condition run the risk of not functioning in accordance with their protective function in the event of a fire. Technical ventilation that is not tested regularly and properly can lead to increased health hazards for employees and to the formation of an explosive atmosphere in the event of improper storage.This standard lists the requirements for the qualification and further training measures for persons qualified for testing of safety cabinets, pressurised gas cylinder cabinets and the associated technical ventilation.
