The series of standards VDI 6000 describes the determination of the demand for sanitary objects and the equipment and design of sanitary rooms depending on the use and gives advice on the design. This standard deals with sanitary rooms in healthcare and nursing. As part of the ongoing revision of the entire series of standards VDI 6000, the systematics of the individual standards were changed in favour of a clearer and non-repetitive structure.
