- Abstract
-
Unmanned aerial systems (UAS) are remote-controlled or (partially) automated aircraft which, thanks to their high flexibility, can reach places that would otherwise be inaccessible or only accessible at great expense. The availability of compact and high-quality measurement technology opens up the possibility of using UAS to record air quality parameters. This standard establishes a comprehensive set of rules for the selection, testing and use of UAS for the detection of immissions, emissions, and other purposes. It only deals with UAS with a take-off mass of less than 25 kg.
