The VDI-Richtlinie gives an overview about LPS and a guideline for the implementation. The principles of design evaluation methods given in the guideline focus mainly on the application within the fulfillment process with the containing processes manufacturing and assembly and the support processes, logistics, human resource, quality and maintenance management.
