This standard applies to all vehicle transporters that are suitable for the transport of medium to heavy commercial vehicles with an actual mass of up to 20 t and a maximum tire size of 1,25 m (diameter) and are equipped in accordance with this standard. This standard is intended for consignors, carriers, shippers, vehicle owners, vehicle drivers and those who are responsible by law, regulations, contract or other rules and regulations for the securing of loads and safe transportation. The areas of responsibility are derived from the national regulations of other countries in cross-border road freight transport and follow the applicable rules of technology. The application requires sufficient qualification corresponding to the activity.
