This standard applies to all vehicle transporters that are suitable for the transportation of passenger cars, minibuses and commercial vehicle combinations up to and including 4,5 t actual mass and are equipped in accordance with this standard. The standard is intended for consignors, carriers, shippers, vehicle owners, vehicle drivers and those who are responsible by law, regulations, contracts or other rules and regulations for the securing of loads and safe transportation. The areas of responsibility are derived from the national regulations of other countries in cross-border road freight transport and follow the applicable rules of technology. The application requires sufficient qualification corresponding to the activity.
