- Abstract
-
As a result of the requirements of the Building Energy Act, heat pumps are increasingly being used alone or in combination with other heat generators. Previous billing principles used for conventional boiler systems are not suitable, as the efficiency of heat pumps depends to a large extent on changing operating conditions. This has consequences for the allocation of costs for space heating and domestic hot water, but possibly also for seasonal differences in consumption. The standard serves to allocate the resulting costs appropriately.
